The current version of the operating system supports the iPhone 5 and the above models. But for iOS 11, things are going to be changed. The upcoming OS will only support the iPhone 5S and the higher models. Even the iPhone 5C will not be supported by the forthcoming iOS 11. Similar to the iPhones, the compatibility criteria for the iPads is also going to be changed. The iOS 10 supports iPad Mini 2 and the above models but the iOS 11 will only support the iPad Mini 3 and the higher tablets.
